Gold Leaf Writing Academy was formulated and inspired by creatives. The two most common reasons for the lack of writers are the feeling of not being worthy enough to write and writers’ block. Academy is here to break the notion that “everyone cannot write”. Yes, we are aware everyone is not a “writer”, but we believe just as God used Moses after speaking through a burning bush, He can use you as well.

 

In Exodus 4:10-12, Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.” The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

 

Though Moses wasn't eloquent in speech we see God remind him when we are called by God to do something, He will equip us to complete the task. We believe God is raising up a generation of writers who will share their testimonies of how he restored their faith with the world. It is our goal to partner with God’s vision and coach 1000 writers to fill bookstores and libraries with testimonies of God’s restorative power to redeem all.

 

We place emphasis on healing, mental, and heart health as we know in order to pour out effectively, we must be healed in these areas. We also focus on hearing, speaking, and the importance of sound as we explore the DNA of writing.
